Thomas Duane Scouller
A private family gathering will be held for Sequim resident Thomas Duane Scouller, who died Nov. 6, 2008, at the age of 74.
He was born April 28, 1934, in Yakima, to Thomas Vernon and Esther Eastley Scouller.
He married Patricia Kay Hatcher on April 24, 1954, in Seattle, and Eileen LeBrun on July 4, 1970, in Alaska. He married Bonnie Jean McClennen on March 15, 1980, in McCleary. She preceded him in death on May 3, 2008.
Mr. Scouller was a blast engineer, working on the Alaska Pipeline and Skagway Highway. He worked for Seattle City Lights before he moved to Alaska in 1964 and worked on the Alaska-Canada Highway and the Alaska pipeline.
He was a devoted father and grandfather. He loved animals and rescued several over his lifetime. He was a member of Nazarene Church and Laborer's Union from 1964-1984.
He is survived by his sons Timothy Scouller of Sequim and Steven Scouller of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; step-son and daughter-in-law John and Angie McClennen of Yulee, Fla.; daughters and sons-in-law Trina and Frank Noble of Sandpoint, Idaho, and Tammy and Brent Blevis; step-daughters and sons-in-law Kathy and Don Pelley of Tacoma; Cheri and Robert Page of Sequim; Leanne and Bob Smith of Tacoma; and Lenise and Greg French of Puyallup; sister and brother-in-law Evelyn and George Biehly of Camano Island; 22 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Drennan & Ford Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
